Andrea Hayes Obituary

Visalia - Andrea Christine Hayes - age 45

December 21, 1979 - March 14, 2025

Andrea was born on December 21, 1979 at Tulare District Hospital to her parents, Roger and Debra (Justice) Hayes of Visalia, (previously of Huntington Beach, CA)

She started school at the age of three at Carden Manor private school in Visalia. She especially loved learning French. She graduated from Immanuel High School in Reedley in 1998 where she sang in the choir and played on the tennis team. She taught Sunday school at the First Presbyterian Church in Visalia. She loved children.

Andrea became ill and had her first major surgery at USC Hospital in 2021.

She continued her education at College of the Sequoias, where she was a member of the Christian Fellowship Club, the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honorary Society, and the Native American Club. She graduated with her Associate of Arts degree in 2006 where she was acknowledged by receiving the "Spirit Award". The Spirit Award is given to someone who experiences great adversity, yet perseveres to continue their education. She felt so honored to receive the award.

She had many hobbies, which included travel, tennis, and ballroom dancing. But Andrea's first love was always her modeling career Her first modeling experience was at the age of three, where she was in the Easter fashion show at Gottschalks department store.

She went on to be in countless fashions shows, Hairstyle Magazine, General Motors car shows, and appeared on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. She had small parts in three different movies, but her absolute favorite thing was modeling bridal gowns.

In the Las Vegas, the largest bridal show on the West Coast, she was chosen to wear an imported Parisian gown encrusted with real diamonds and had to be escorted by armed guard. She got a kick out that.

In 2021, Andrea became ill again and her health continued to decline. She was in excruciating pain and basically bedridden. On March 14, 2025, Jesus decided she had suffered far too much, for far too long, and her took her to her final resting place in Heaven. Andrea Christine was always a ray of sunshine, and had a huge heart. Her kindness knew no bounds and she never knew a stranger. Though our hearts ache without her, we know she is now pain free resting in the arms of the Lord and we will see her again in Heaven.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather; Debra (Justice) and Michael O'Neill of Fresno, her father and stepmother; Roger and Sherry Hayes of Arizona, brother and sister-in-law; Tristan and Jenna Jones, nephew Cooper and niece Savannah of Kingsburg, brother and sister-in-law; Caleb and Calee Jones, nephew Ayden and niece Penelope of Visalia, stepsister and brother-in-law; Shae and Justin Hall, nieces Teagan and Jade, stepbrother; Curtis O'Neill all of Fresno, brothers; Jason and Daniel Hayes of Arizona, grandparents; Reese and Joyce Goddard of Visalia, grandmother; Phyllis Williams, grandfather; Richard Hayes, both of Arizona, uncle; Timothy Justice of Tulare and auntie; Diana Gayer of Visalia and many more family and friends near and far.
