Andrew David BANDT

I have just learned the sad news of Andrew's passing, my sincere condolences to Andrew's wife, son and the rest of his family. I remember him from school days at St Pats and Maryborough High.. a scholar and footballer but most importantly a mate of the highest integrity.. RIP Bandit..

Blokes like Bandit are few and far between. A thoughtful, selfless, gentle, patient, caring and very funny man. The fond memories I have of the Bandito will endure. What a footballer. Floating effortlessly down the wings of the main at St. Pats or the Uni oval his silky skills were a treat to behold. I am not sure how often I would wait in line in Kenny house to see the wise man Bandit to get help with physics or maths. I was and am proud to be his friend and I thank you dearly Bandit for the moments we shared together. I express my deepest sympathies to Felicity and Harvey and to the rest of his clan.

I am in total shock to hear this news about Andrew BANDT, The BANDIT, was one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. One of my true and best mates at High School in Maryborough. I remember running into him whilst working in Melbourne a few years back and he was excited to see me as much as I was to see him...even after all these years. I offer my condolences to his wife and son, his brother Jamie and family, and his mum and dad in Redbank. I am deeply saddened by this terrible news. I went to Maryborough HS with Andrew. Andrew was one one the good guys. Always thoughtful and kind. He was a beautiful young man. I am sure he grew into a good man. Some people you never forget. Working on assignments, talks about the meaning of life and wondering where life will take you.. My thoughts and heart are with his wife,son and family. Nicole Higgins
