I met Andy many years ago when we worked as pipers in Vancouver. We lost touch over the years but was deeply saddened to here of his passing. He is one of those people you never forget
His smile and that laugh wow you hear him blocks away.He was at my wedding in 1981 and his rendition of Rindacella and the 3 sister ugly bought the place down.I was hoping to reconnect some day and I was sorry that never happened Who knows one day we might.
To his family who I never met I wish you well. He was such a good guy.

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who knew and loved my father for all your support and sympathy during this time. It really helps to know that my family won't be the only ones to miss his great big smile and hearty laugh. I think to know Andy Boston was to love Andy Boston, even though no one was passed wanting to spite him from time to time :).
This whole "experience" has opened my eyes to a lot of things many people take for granted. I had never experienced the death of anyone close to me, it has changed me so much as a person, and taught me to love and cherish every waking day with the people I love. I can't stress enough to my friends how important family is, and to really make the most of the time you have with the ones you care for, because things can change so quickly. He was so strong-minded and sure of himself that I never thought to see him leave us so quick, afterall, he always claimed to be the "omnipotent" one, I think he truly started to believe it.
Although these last few weeks have been emotionally tiring, I couldn't be more pleased with the way things went in rememberance of him, and I have all those that loved him to thanks, so once again, thank you!!!
Dad, I wish we could share one last chat, one last joke, one last beer, but until then, you'll remain in all of our hearts and on all of our minds, and you'll always be a huge part of who I am. I couldn't be more proud of being your son and redeeming some of your great characteristics that so many people grew to love. Love you forever.

I have many found memories of Uncle Andy throughout the years. But it was as I grew into an adult where we really started to get to know each other. As we both hang out at Donegals it was often we would run into Andy...whether I saw him or herd his infectious laugh throughout the pub he always gave a big bear hug. It's funny, the last time I saw him we had a big heart to heart, he told me how proud he was of Colin and Mark, he spoke of you two continuosly. Uncle Andy will be missed, but never forgotten.

Andy: It was truly heartening in July to hear from you and your Hi ya Toots, along with all of those other times at 5 years....fifteen. Devin shares so many striking similarities and mannerism with you, that lol....I tried not to hold that against him ... after all he had me as well....couldn't help but love you no matter what...my first.
Sonya: We had an affinity and shared similar joys, views and trials over the twenty years since I first met you. You and the boys are now, and will continue to be in my thoughts. I am hoping Devin will once again travel there to see you again. Great Love from the first ex-wife club.
Camia: Thank you so much for continuing to try and reach me, even in what must have been unbearable disbelief and pain. My heart is with you, as you were the woman in the moment of that laugh, smile and unbridled life with him.

“Andy, this is Monica.” “ Monica, this is Andy.” is how our phone conversations would always begin, followed by laughter. I will miss that laugh, his lovely voice and the rascally gleam in his eyes. I will always appreciate how he made my sister laugh and have fun, and opened up a whole new world of adventure and love to her. My heart goes out to Andy’s whole family and all those he touched. He will live on in our hearts.
