REMEMBER ME
To the living, I am gone.
To the sorrowful, I will never return.
To the angry, I was cheated.
But to the happy, I am at peace,
and to the faithful I have never left.
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.
So as you stand upon a shore,
gazing at a beautful ocean---remember me.
As you look in awe at a mighty forest and its majesty---remember me.
As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity---remember me..
Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, and memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed.
For if you always thhink of me, I will never be gone.
(unknown)
I AM WITH YOU STILL
I give you this one thought to keep
I am with you still--do not weep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush,
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone--I am with you still--in each new dawn.
So do not mourn for me so long,
because My spirit lives forever within your hearts.

To the Cross Family,
I'm sorry for your loss. I just wanted to share a memory that I have of Andrew and myself. I have always loved playing baseball with the guys and being the only girl on the team, but I will never forget when Andrew said that he loved me behind the plate and he had never met a girl that was not scared to take a guy out. Mr and Mrs Cross I hope that the Lord is with you and comforting you in this time of need. May he keep you and may his love make the days to come easier.
God Bless,
Cindy Cross-James

My prayers and thoughts are with the Cross family at this time! Mr. Cross- I want to thank you for allowing me the time with Andrew while we were in high school. If it wasn't for you and your many weekend trips to Swansboro, I would have never been so blessed to have Andrew in my life. He was a great friend, loyal and strong. We remained friends throughout life and I couldn't be more thankful! He was an amazing guy and has touched many lives! I will miss you and always love you Andrew!

I remember Bo as "The Wall" when Bo and my son Adam Thompson played soccer together on challenge team in jacksonville.Due to he was a solid stocky built young man and even though he didn't let you get by him, he always kept his head in game and polite to others,he had great humor and a joy to be around. So take comfort in you raised a great guy and now God has him and you have a great Guardian Angel looking over you all.Lots of prayers going out for you.

I went through Basic training, AIT and school in Greenville with Bo. We served together in different companies during O.I.F 2. Andrew was a great friend and great soldier who loved his family more than anything. The one thing that sticks out is him always talking about them. My prayers go out to you and your family. Love you and will always miss you brother!

My husband Artie and Andrew along with Dan,Tink,Randle,Nick and Chris all served in the National Guard together. They went to Irag together. In just about every picture we have they are all together. I have never seen a friendship like theirs. They have been through alot together. I beleive they are more brothers than just friends. No matter how much distance is between them they will always be the 7. Andrew will be greatly missed and the rest of the 7 will keep his memory alive. Rest in Peace Brother.

I just wanted to thank the Cross family for sharing Andrew with us. Although he was only with us a short time. His impact was great. His caring heart and sense of dignity and respect for others highly reflects the love and support of his family. Hes a good man. He will always remain part of our family.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
