Even though we were both born and raised in San Diego I met Andrew at a party on Park Blvd in Oakland. It was April 20 2002, we both we in our early 20's. We got to talking, the next thing I know, I'm working with him at Jurassic Palms! We created a huge friendship right off the bat! He taught me a ton about palm trees while we drove around the Bay Area looking for different skate parks! Every time I drive around, I always see the palm trees I planted with Andy and I remember how passionate he was about it! He made me fall in love with plants too!! Im sorry I just found out about his passing. I would love to give my condolences in person. Hopefully someone can contact me .. .Gabe Gurrola 760 533 3001

You were my brother and I will love you, and carry you with me forever. I watched you when I was little- I wanted to be strong like you, I listened to music, because you liked it. I wished I could be as artistic as you were. You were so talented in whatever you did. I was proud to be your sister. Even when things were hard we supported you, and loved you. Rest In Peace Andy
