Dear Cordes, Gene, and Gordon, I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed catching up with your father when I saw him. He was a good friend to my Father. My Mother too. He always reminded me of the old days when we were young kids and our parents seem to have had quite a busy social life and the kids were usually included. All the outings with the Wardlaws, Bissells, Seabrooks, Dawsons, Stevens, etc. Many great memories. It was a privilege to have known your Father.

The Geer Family:

Upon reading the obituaries this morning, I was so saddened to learn of the passing of your dear father. While I never had the honor and pleasure of meetIng him, reading about this very fine gentleman immediately reminded me so much of his two sons I do know.

Dr Geer took great care of my dear Uncle Laurence Heiterer in his last days a number of years ago. I was so impressed with his professionalism and kind manner. And I very much enjoyed knowing and working with Gordon for a number of years while we were both employed by the the Town of Mount Pleasant.

Accordingly, please accept my sincerest sympathy.

God bless Mr Geer and God bless all of you.

Sincerely-------Allen Young

To all the Family,
Tony and I are so sorry for the loss of Gene.
We first met Gene in 2002 when we came down to Charleston from Virginia for Vacation. After meeting both he and Betty we couldn't wait to come back every summer. Gene was a real hoot!! he would tell us stories about his family and how 31 E. Battery came to be. He was very kind to us when we got together. He loved to play golf and sneak a Cigar or two with my Husband when Betty wasn't looking. He was so proud to have been a Commodore at the Yacht club and would take us to dinner there. We enjoyed every minute we spent with Gene and his late wife Betty. We are going to miss him.
