ANDREW GERENYI Obituary
Age 77, of Wexford, died Friday, July 4, 2014, at home. He was born September 30, 1936, in Pittsburgh, and was the son of the late Andrew and Martha Ginter Gerenyi. Dr. Gerenyi was the former medical director at St. Barnabas and had also worked at the former St. Frances Hospital. He had a Family Practice and was also a radiologist. Dr. Gerenyi was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and was U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He is survived by his wife, Kandi Opland Gerenyi; sons, Andrew (Helen) Gerenyi and Peter Gerenyi; brothers, Robert (Joann) Gerenyi and Ronald (Adrian) Gerenyi of Murrysville, and David (Karen) Gerenyi of Penn Hills; aunt, Ester Smolder; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. There is no visitation. Arrangements are by the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Condolences may be made at:

My deepest sympathies to to Kandi and the Gerenyi family. I have known Andy for 20 years and I have so much respect for him. I will be sure to honor his wishes and I thank him from the bottom of my heart.
