I am so sorry to hear of Andy's accident and passing.

I remember being able to turn to Andy for help many times over the years- fixing my bike, fiberglassing the boat,
having a look at my car...he would always take the time to help me out and explain things.

Then later, I remember seeing him settled in town as a family man with lovely children.

I found out late about Andy's passing and missed out on paying my respects in person so without sounding redundant, my thoughts and prayer's are with you all during your time of sorrow. From what I've read on here and from a close family friend, Andy left this world with the wind at his back,his bike under his seat while anticipating an awesome roadtrip with his brothers. It takes a tragedy such as this to remember all the great things about a person that has brought memories into our lives. As Andy's employer for the last 9 years, I can truly say he was a member of our team and it will be very hard to replace him and he will really be missed. He was definately one great mechanic and comebacks was NOT something that happened with Andy. We will miss many things about Andy. From seeing him come in in the morning and tying up his boots, sitting in the back bay eating low calorie poutine and chicken with the staff, to us thinking he was crazy pouring sugar into the coffee machine to make it better. He was Andy...he had his ways and we were all happy to have him here at Beans. There are certain qualities you look for in a employee and one is dedication and trust. Andy had both. He went through the good and bad times at Beans and always tried to help out the best he could. He had a LOYAL following of customers that "ONLY" Andy could work on their vehicles. The staff here at Beans, customers and myself will truly miss having Andy Horner as a part of our team. It has been hard the last few days here at Beans with everyone coming in and telling stories and just wanting to hang out and talk. It shows how much Andy was liked by his friends, family and ALL of our customers. THANK-YOU Andy Horner for 9 years of loyal service to Beans Service Station....We still watch the door of the shop and wish you could once again walk through it...GOD BLESS you my friend. You will definately be missed by ALL that knew you... Adam

I didn't know Andy very well, but in all our dealings with him he showed himself to be a real stand-up guy, a man of integrity and decency. We were fond of him and we'll miss him.
