Andrew "Andy" James

We are so very sad for Andrew's family. We are unable to comfort them, so we pray the Lord will.
At the same time, we are thankful for his time here on earth. He brought Joy to so many.

Mine and Fred´s hearts ache for you all. There is a song called "Angels Calling" by the Tenors. I am sure Andy is telling everyone to dry their eyes. May God´s peace surround each of you

The Country Woods neighborhood is deeply saddened and grieves with the James family at this time. Though I did not know Andy personally, I have garnered a glimpse of his joy for life in my brief encounters with Bob, Debbie, and Ashley in my walks through the neighborhood. May His peace sustain you all at this time.

Andy will certainly be missed. Our sincerest condolences to the family and prayers for the days ahead. Lifting you up to God for continued comfort and love.

Andy was a friend, I am thankful I was able to meet him through working together trying to restore streams and wetlands.

I will miss Andy and I am thankful to have been able to call him friend.

The wonderment and awe that we shared in nature while trying to nudge streams and ecosystems towards restoration, made us feal as is if we were still children looking at a new adventure and stream for the first time.

I believe that Andy's soul is now restored, and his gaze is on the majesty of God, he now knows why streams meander and he truly understand the privilege of being able to be called a child of God.

Andy's memory will be in the hearts of many he worked with around streams and wetlands in Alabama. I look forward to sharing awe with him again as we gaze at the River of Life.

Andy was an amazing man. His combined traits of wit, intelligence, analytical skills, love for his family, service to others, humility and creativity were beautiful and rare combinations. Prayers for the comfort of the Holy Spirit for his family and all whose lives he touched.

Andy was one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew him.

We have so many loving memories of our dear Andy and his loving family. We´re blessed as Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and so many more come together to join in this celebration of life for Andy, too soon gone. We are forever grateful for his humor, wit and beautiful smile as well as his dedication to family.
