Jean, I read his obituary online and he was indeed a very remarkable young man. As I read everything, I wondered what he would have accomplished had he lived for many additional years. I'm sure he would have continued to be an extremely kind and remarkable individual accomplishing so many wonderful things. My heart ached for you as I read about his life and his many, many talents. I know you continue to be extremely proud of what he accomplished in a life cut way too short. Larry Woodard

Although its been over a year since the accident, my thoughts of Andrew and Melanie have not faded from my memory. I am as troubled now as I was then about your loss and I have difficulty even beginning to contemplate how your lives have changed. But there is always hope. I hope you can find beauty in each day, I hope you can laugh about some thought of Andrew that brings back a happy memory and I hope you know how many people he touched in his short but powerful life. His work was not done, his life was taken too soon but we have been blessed by his 25 years of beautiful life.

Jean, Larry, and Connor,
My heartfelt condolences in regards to the passing of Andrew. I just don't know what to say... I can still see him in the blue Magee hospital t-shirt that you gave me a picture of. I will always remember the time that I sat on the floor in front of his toy box and he came over and sat on my lap. I thank you for those special times and fond memories. You were there to see the little boy grow up to be an outstanding, upright, kind, helpful, unique man.
Take life day to day, sometimes minute to minute. You are all in my daily prayers.

God bless.... I love you all.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Andrew. He was one of my all time favorite students at Marshall Elementary School! As a "founding member" of my first Tech Team, his enthusiasm for helping, learning and sharing was clearly evident with his interactions with the team and me.
Please accept my sincere condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

Larry, Jean & Connor,

While the loss of a loved one is never easy, even when anticipated, it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon.

We offer our sincere condolence and deepest sympathy on your loss. May the kind acts of friends , and the comfort in knowing that your loss is felt by many, help you through this difficult time.

Praying for courage and strength in the Lord to move forward in peace and confidence and in knowing that his was a life well-lived.

We love you,

My prayers are with all of you. Andrew was so lovable and one of the kindest youths I ever met. He touched many through his example of what is the best in us, even as a lad. It was an honor to have known him, however briefly.
