I first met Andy in kindergarten at Westover Elementary School in Silver Spring MD. We grew up in the same neighborhood, attended grade school ( St. John the Baptist, Silver Spring ) and High School ( Good Counsel, Wheaton MD ) together. I never lost touch with him since high school. So I think it's fair to say we were brothers.
To the extent that I have a work ethic, I credit first of all my mother, and a close second I give kudos to my friend Andy. As anyone who ever knew Andy will surely attest, to say that he was a hard worker is a gross understatement. Equally, Andy always knew how to laugh and have a good time. Some might say he did both too much, but I would say that he lived his life to the fullest. I'm sure he left a long legacy of inspiration with his children, nieces and nephews, and many others. God bless you Andy, I miss you already. And God bless you Mei and family. Be strong. God bless you Andy, faithful friend. it was an honor and privilege ( and a blast ) to know you.

Dear Andrew, we at St Jude Church will miss you so much. You always had a little smile on your face. I never saw you impatient or upset. I so enjoyed getting to know you and sweet Mei in RCIA years ago. And I always enjoyed seeing you and your family at Mass.
My heart is with you Mei, and with the boys. My prayers will remain with your family.
Deepest sympathy and love,
Joanne

Dear Andrew,
You left us so early. My family and I will dearly miss you.
You are one of the kindest, helpful, loving, honest person that I am very lucky to meet.
It is like yesterday that you and Mei walked pass my front yard holding hands and we met the first time when you moved into the neighborhood. Then next days, I met you and Mei with little Bill in the baby carriage walking up my driveway. Then next days, I met you and Mei with little "Jimbo" in the baby carriage walking up my driveway again. We car pooled for a while but I could't keep up with you because you pulled up on my driveway at 5 AM in the morning. I didn't find out you left us until this past Friday morning and I was wondering why I was awake 5 AM the last two mornings.
You had fun either getting together at our homes or my work holiday parties. You are the best "Jenga" player at my company parties.
My prayers are with you and your family.
