Dear Aunt Helen, Barbara, Sharon and Ron:

I would like to extend my sympathy and that of my sons, Michael and Paul for the loss of your husband/father. I know only too well the sadness you all feel in your hearts, and nothing can change that. I will always remember the great man Uncle Andy was. He was without a doubt one of the funniest and humorous men I've known. I will always remember the "tricks" he would play when he'd come into Syracuse to visit and how one time "he got me" when he donned a disguise and I didn't recognize him right away!

He was a generous man and I will always be thankful for what he did for me and my family during earlier years. I always respected the business man in him and how his advice was always appropriate and intellectual.

God bless all of you. You will remain in my prayers, as well as Uncle Andy, who I am sure is enjoying his meeting with his parents and other friends and relatives in eternal rest.

God bless and best wishes,

Aunt Helen and family: I was very saddened to learn of the passing of Uncle Andy. I have always had the deepest respect and admiration for him, and his advice or opinions were truly valued when they were offered. He worked so hard and accomplished so much during his lifetime. To me his focus always seemed to center on ensuring that you, Barbara, Sharon and Ronnie would have good lives. I think he will rest in peace knowing he succeeded in that. Together you formed a close and admirable family, of which you can be very proud. His integrity and kindness were clearly shown by his dedication to the Cancer Center and other good causes, and he obviously passed these traits on to his children. Please accept my expression of sympathy and know that Uncle Andy was truly an inspiration to us and someone we will always regard with admiration, pride and respect. He will be dearly missed. My prayers are with you all.

Aunt Helen,Barb,Sharon,Ron and all the rest of your family:

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Uncle Andy. He was a great inspiration to me many times during my life and I always welcomed his advice when we talked. He always seemed to want to help anyone in need, and during his life he acomplished that in many ways.

Back in the early 1960's I would always be so excited to see him pull into our driveway and take one of us 3 kids back to Rochester for a week. Spending time with all of you was so much fun. You all took time to take me places and spent time away from your friends. During those visits, you made me feel so welcome and I will always cherish those memories.

May God bless you all for having a great Husband/Dad/Grandfather/ Father-in-law and Uncle.
