Andrew Schaefer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Oct. 18 to Oct. 19, 2023.
Traverse City - Tragically, Andrew Logan Schaefer left us too soon on October 10, 2023. Logan was born on March 17, 1995, in Edina, Minnesota, to Susan Michael Mullins and Andrew Goodspeed Schaefer. With the love and support of his brother, Taylor, and his sister, Forest, Logan grew up to be a wonderful, optimistic, and humorous young man. A very curious and mischievous young boy, he matured into a serious young man obsessed with airplanes and flying. By 20 he attained his pilot's license and was looking forward to getting a commercial license and becoming a full-time pilot for Delta.

Logan first met the love of his life, Victoria May Pearson, in middle school, and they had their first kiss at 11, but the paths of their lives took them in different directions until years later when they reconnected and they realized they never wanted to be separated again. Logan and Victoria were married on a beautiful day, in an unforgettable setting, surrounded by family and friends, on June 18, 2022. Yet only a little over a year later Victoria has lost her beloved husband, and family and friends have lost a kind, loyal, funny, and endlessly loveable young man. Those who survive him say goodbye with devastating grief and sorrow. Logan is survived by his wife Victoria May Schaefer, his loving parents, siblings and many other family members.

A service for Logan will be held at The Chapel of Our Guardian Angel, 812 Petoskey Street, Petoskey, Michigan, at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 21, 2023 with a reception afterwards at his childhood home, 1035 Autumn Lane, Petoskey.
