Spartanburg, SC- Andrew Jackson Tolleson, Jr., 61, husband of Tammy Kay Tolleson, died Friday, July 7, 2017.
Born April 16, 1956 in Spartanburg, SC, Andrew was a son of Dorothy Mae Blackwell and the late Andrew Jackson Tolleson, Sr. He worked as a production planner for many manufacturing facilities over the years. Andrew was a diehard Gamecock fan, but more so of his family. He enjoyed camping, fishing, softball, and anything involving his grandkids. Andrew was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Stone Station Baptist Church.
Andrew will be sorely missed by his friends and family. He was a selfless, hardworking, and incredibly respected man who was valued greatly in the eyes of his community.
In addition to his beloved wife of 41 years and his mother, Andrew is survived by his children, Heather Tinsley (Jeff) of Spartanburg, SC, Daryl Tolleson of Boiling Springs, SC, and Lindsey Williams of Roebuck, SC; his grandchildren, Jason Williams, Jr., Gracie Freeman, Carson Williams, Tanner Tolleson, Brayden Williams, and Tucker Tolleson; dear friends and his “other children,” Becky Price (Gary) and their kids, Colby, Jordyn, and Easton; and a sister, Lisa Tolleson.
Andrew was predeceased by his brothers, Randy and Jerry Tolleson.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 10th, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 11th, 2PM at Dunbar Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Jackie Bridwell, Reverend Daryl Tolleson, and Reverend Fred Quidley.
Burial will follow in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
