Andrzej Kopec

The love that Andrzej gave Nancy, Brandon, Brent, Burdine and all of our family will always be treasured. Andrezej mother,father, sister and family in Poland can be so proud of all of Andrezej accomplishments in life and of all the joy he brought to his family in Canada. Our hearts are always filled with love as we think and speak of Andrezej. He will always be with us every day as we remember the great times we shared. We are all so fortunate to have had Andrezej in our lives. Thanking you, Nancy, for sharing Andrezej with all of us. Lots of love from Linda xo

I think of Andre every day and the life he had with you and our family. Andre gave us all the courage to always look at the good things we have accomplished in our lives; and not the things we are still trying to accomplish, to be happy. Andre had determination, love and momentum to keep searching for a higher feeling of life and well-being. We will all miss Andre for his humour, kindness, total devotion he showed to Nancy and her family. I look at the stars, and watched the waves while in Hawaii and feel the wonder of the miracles of life and always miss Andre's presence and the happiness he made us all feel. I loved how he loved Nancy, her family, our family and life. I miss his smile.

I didn't learn about Andre's death until just recently. I had the pleasure of meeting him and befriending him when we worked at re/max. There is no question that he was a good and kind man. My sympathies go out to his family and friends.

I remember Andre's kind smile and laugh most of all. He was so much fun to be around. We remember a beautiful afternoon at a particular toboggan hill. We introduced the family to something called "pocket skiis", small skiis that velcroed onto winter boots. We were excited to practice with them; they were so short and hard to control. Andrzej wanted to try them so he climbed up the tobogganning hill behind Silver and Diane's. He skied down that hill making beautiful carving turns. He was the one brave enough to try. We will all miss Andre's fun loving ways at how he saw things. His smile and laughter was loved by all.. Andre was one of the best dance partners anyone could have.,and also could sing a pretty good tune..
As Andre and I would always say "GoodNight" "Irene"..HE will be in our hearts always.

Andrzej(Andre) touched so many people with his smile,his compassion,and his zest for life to its fullest.We are so blessed to have had him in our family. Always,having a good laugh. Andre and I would have great conversations on our many trips to Banff with Jon and Nancy.The four of us..We used to say to each other ...Its not the years in your life,, Its the life in your years. Dearest Nancy,
We stopped for a rest Friday about 1:30 at Bald Hill,on the Eastern Australian Coast and we discovered we were right at a world famous hang gliding site. We stayed and spent some time, thinking of Andrzej, of you and of the kids. We wished we could have been at the service but as we later discovered we were having our own little service Friday afternoon, the same time as the service in Calgary was happening. I think it was meant to be that we were there when we were.

We have all been so very lucky to have Andrzej as part of our lives. We'll surely miss that Andrzej smile and generousity he showed to all he met. He accomplished so much in such a short time; without a doubt I know he left us doing what he loved to do. We will miss you Anrzej.

Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss. I only met Andrzej a couple of times at some of your family functions that I crashed. I know from all that Burdine has told me how much he loved you and your family. Having such a large and close family will help you greatly at this time.

I work at the Children's Hospital and used to see Andrzej "André" often. He was always smiling and never passed me in the Hall without saying "Hello". He was an amazing, intelligent & talented guy with an unforgettable smile and will be missed by many here at the Hospital - especially the Maintenance crew... My thoughts & prayers go out to his family here as well as Poland.

I was so saddened to hear about Andrzej's accident. I remember his smile the most and how he truly adored Nancy. My heart and tears are with you and his family today and always. Keep his laughter in your heart and it will help you get through.

Without a doubt, Andrzej was one of a kind. He was always smiling and so passionate about everything. It was always an adventure flying with Andrzej. He will always be in our hearts.

We were truly sadden last Thursday when we were told of this accident. It is not fair that such a joyful person has been taken from our lives at such a young age. We will be there to help you carry on.

Andrzej was always very helpful and pleasant to work with. His smile was genuine and he always had time to say 'hello' even in passing in the hallway. I will miss seeing him around the hospital.
