Dear Al and Debbie,
You are constantly in our thoughts. We are so very sorry for your loss. Andy was taken way too young. As the days and weeks pass, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. If there is ever anything we can do, please let us know.

The Berger Family,
I am extremely sorry for your loss. You do not know me, but I was a year older and went to Batavia High with Andy and he was a friend of my brother(Jake Pierce). He is someone who will be missed immensely by everyone who knew him. You are all in my prayers and may your strength prevail in such a trying and emotional time.

Debbie,
I can't image the depth of your pain but I hope your memories of the time you had with Andy will help console you a little during this very trying time. I'm sorry I didn't get to hug you today at the service and offer a little comfort. It was a very nice service and from the size of the turnout it was evident that Andy left his mark on this earth. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Andy was simply a great guy. He was a gift to be around while I played hockey for Batavia. I am deeply saddened by his unexpected passing. My deepest sympathy to the Berger family.

Dear Debbie, Alan, and Jay,
Our whole family was blessed with Andy's friendship and touched by his unending energy and zest for life. It was always a joy to have him in our home to join us at the table for dinner (could anyone love steak more?) or just hang around. Even a simple "How was your day?" always turned into a fulfilling conversation that made us feel fortunate to know him.
Bill and I admired the way Andy and Jessica faced the world with confidence, care, and committment towards everything they did, whether they were working at McMahon Builders, camping, taking care of pets, or going out for the evening.
Andy was a like a "big brother" to Jake and in Jake's words, would often "steer me in the right direction."
It seemed like no matter how much Andy's day already included, or if his evening would go on late coaching hockey, he had time to help out or just stop to make you smile. He was one of the hardest working young men I've ever seen.
We will miss him greatly and keep you all in our hearts. Sincerely, Michele & Bill McDonald

Dear Debbie, Alan, Jay -
I cannot find the words to express the sorrow my kids and I have for ALL of you! Andy was a beautiful young man. A few of his high school friends came over Saturday sharing stories about Andy; his fun spirit and mischievous ways.
We will miss him. Our grievances are with you – may the Lord carry you during this time~

Debbie, Alan, and Jay:
We knew your son and brother through our oldest son's hockey days at BHS and through our younger children. They all described Andy as one of the nicest guys they've ever known. Andy's death is a tremendous loss, a shock to all who knew him. May you find comfort in the memories that will forever keep Andy close.
With our deepest sympathy,
