As I sit here and reflect on this past year, it just doesn't seem that time has moved, almost like time has stood still. I am still in disbelief that you are actually gone, and the fact you have been gone a year is mind boggling to me. There are a lot of questions that have been left unanswered, questions we may never have the answers to- but none of this matters because nothing can bring you back- a realization that we all must come terms with -even though I am struggling to do so. I truly wish I could hug you and talk to you one last time and express to you how much I love you. I recently stumbled across a picture of me when I was little sitting with you, the day I found this picture was one of many days you were constantly on my mind- a day that If you were physically still here I would have come to you for advice on something that I was struggling with. I saw this as a sign that you were sending me to remind me you are with me everyday, I cannot see you you but I know you are in my heart and you are ALWAYS with me! I know you are watching over all of us, including your little girls. I just have to keep pushing forward and be strong for your girls. They are beautiful and your "stink eye" lives on through them!

Angela was one of my first friends and although I had not see her in many years I was grateful to get back in touch with her on facebook and seeing her little girls. I have so many great memories of our friendship in our younger days. I can only pray now for those precious little girls and for you her family and friends.May the Lord comfort you as no one else can and may the memories you recall be a balm to your heart as you grieve.
