Angela Jane Pierce

Angela Jane Pierce, 60, entered into rest on February 20, 2022, leaving a legacy as an accomplished executive and philanthropist in the entertainment industry.

Angela held leadership positions at Twentieth Century Fox, Revolution Studios, and Encompass Digital Media.

She co-produced the 76th Annual Academy Awards and organized The National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Dinner of Champions, which raised nearly $50 million dollars for MS, with Trustee, Tom Sherak, former President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. It ranks as one of the most successful fundraising events held in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's history.

"The Sherak family mourns, with so many, the passing of our friend, a member of our extended family, our angel - Angela Pierce. To say that Angela worked with or for Tom would be an understatement. She was a formidable presence in his life, but also of our entire family. She laughed and cried with us in all of our life cycle events and took care of us as any loving family member would. We will be forever grateful for her commitment to the fight against MS and her tireless efforts to find a cure. Along with Tom, they were a force in championing the cause for over 20 years.

We will miss her free spirit, her boundless energy, her infectious smile, and her all-knowing demeanor. We pray that she is at peace, and she will live in our hearts, always."

She was a poet, an exceptional gourmet cook, and the best friend anyone could ask for. Her love of animals was as boundless as her spirit.

She leaves behind many cherished friends and co-workers.

There are no words to describe the loss felt by those who knew her, everything she touched had her eclectic and artistic flair.
