Angelica Roberts Obituary
The home going celebration for Angelica Joyce Roberts, 32, will be Friday, October 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with her father Reverend John Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
A time of visitation and support for the family will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Angelica is the daughter of John R. and Evangelia Dowdy Roberts. She was born August 8, 1990 in Ardmore and went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 21, 2022.
A lifelong resident of Ardmore, Angelica attended Oak Hall School and graduated from Ardmore High School, class of 2009. While in school she was a cheerleader. She worked for Fenton Motors and Carter County Hyundia as a salesperson. She was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her parents John and Evangelia Roberts, children, Kiannah Jones and Xander Roberts; sisters, Shena Fields and husband Victor and Jon-Na Anderson and husband Donavon; grandparents, Joyce and Robert Musgrove; nieces Camille Fields and Laila Fields; nephew Drew Fields; aunts and uncles, Diane and Reginald "Pete" Roberts, Lisa Roberts, Patrick Musgrove and wife Rebecca, Robert Musgrove, Jr., and Dr. Carl Roberts and wife Sheryl as well as a host of cousins.
Services have be entrusted to Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory where online condolences for the family may be left at www.hdouglasfuneralhome.com.

Andrea, Claudio and I (Anna), are just seeing this sad news-Andrea shared with us from Facebook. Angelica touched so many lives. She certainly enriched ours with memories of laughter, fun childhood playtime games they came up with, times with Angelica, Sarah, Katie, Andrea at our house, one of the other houses, times in the car going places for fun times. In fact yesterday, after a family wedding, we were with Andrea just remembering a time at our house and how “the girls” were making cookies, most of the flour ended up on them and the floor but oh, what laughter! Claudio just saw Angelica a week or so ago at Walmart and they talked a little. He told me when he got home, “Guess who I just saw at Walmart?” Our most sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to your family. May God hold you close during this difficult time.
