In memory of
Richard A Hoatson
July 27, 2023
Lisa, Michael and Bianco Family: I´d like to offer my sincere condolences for the loss of your Father, a true American Hero. I´d like you to know that your father and my father, Archiebald McLaren Hoatson from Montclair New Jersey became best friends during the bloodiest battle in the Pacific, Okinawa. He too, joined the Marine Corp. and served with the 6th Marine Division. My father never mentioned much about his experiences there but talked extensively about your father. I tried for years to locate your father before my father passed
in 2010 unsuccessfully. I was hoping we could reunite them one more time.
