Angie Snelling

Angie Eames Snelling, nee Carpenter, age 79, died peacefully from complications of advanced dementia on August 7th. She was the mother of Rodman Snelling, sister of Victor and John Carpenter, widow of John Snelling and of John Seth and is survived by six nieces and nephews. As an accomplished professional artist, Ms. Snelling taught at Garland Jr. College in Boston, Harvard University and Schiller University in London, England. Ms. Snelling specialized in portraiture. Examples of her work hang in private collections in the United States and England. A private memorial service in her honor will be held at the Carpenter Chapel at the Rockhill Cemetery in Foxboro, MA.
