I had the privilege and honor to meet Anita & Bob Green at the Freedom's Foundation at Valley Forge with my entire family. I was honored that Anita nominated me for the George Washington Award. She was a wonderful human being and truly missed by millions.

So sorry for the loss of such a beautiful soul. Although I didn't know her, I was named after her in 1971. I later became a Bryant, so I am now and forever known as Anita Bryant. How fitting that I too grew up in a southern Baptist church singing as a child. My condolences to her family. My mom adored her!

As a child of eight I loved it when Anita was on TV. I loved music, but especially Anita's voice. Listening to her religious music, made me think more about Jesus, she was a big influence on my life. In 1971 she came to Little Rock and I got to talk to her. She held on to my hand while talking. Sixty years later she is still my favorite singer. Rest in peace Anita.

As a child, I really enjoyed her singing. It brought joy to my heart and made me want to drink orange juice.

A beautiful lady who I grew up admiring. She wasn´t afraid to stand for her convictions whatever the cost. May our Lord embrace those who will miss her. Now my Aunt (a look alike) and Anita can sing together in heaven

I hope Barbara and Billy see this.... I attended school with you back in 1982 at Dallas Christian Crusaders' in Selma. We spent many a lunch talking about Disney as I was from Florida back then.
I too lost my mother in 2024 and offer my condolences in that. I feel your pain. If you want to reconnect or need support in loss of a parent; please reach out.

I saw Anita in November 1964 in Ascom, Korea near Seoul she was with Bob Hopes Christmas USO Tour. She was with a few other stars Janice Page , Anna Maria Alberghetti and the 1964 Miss World Ann Sydney. She sang her big hit song "Paper Roses" it was wonderful seeing them and we really appreciated them coming to entertain us. Through the years I always liked her. Later I became a friend on her Facebook site.
