Dearest Tina,
I only just learned of your mothers passing away. I was truly sorry I missed the funeral. I must admit that I do not check the obituaries, and in your case I wish I had. I would have wanted to be at your mom's funeral and remember her as a kind, warm woman. I really am so very sorry for what I imagine and empathize you feel. But I also know you are surrounded by a lot of people who love your family and that is a blessing in and of itself. I will definitely come and see you at the shiva and will do so during the afternoon in the hope it is a little more subdued and we can chat a bit. I send you and your family my deepest and truest condolences and hope you are ok. I know how much you loved her, and having gone through this experience with my dad, empathize with the place you are in. May time, your kids, Clifford and life bring you joy in the days to come and I know your wonderful memories of your mom will comfort you at the oddest and least expected times. With love, Ruth.

Harvey and I are so very sorry for your tremendous loss. Your Mom was so very beautiful, inside and out, and she was so kind. Always said the right words to give others hope. We will miss her.
