Anita Espinoza Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 9, 2022.

ESPINOZA

Anita Rose Espinoza, age 70, loving mother of 3 and adoring partner to Manuel Huron, went to meet her loved ones gone before her on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, surrounded by her family.  As an LVN for over 45 years, she worked with several physicians at various hospitals and helped deliver countless babies as a labor and delivery nurse in and around San Antonio.  Anita loved to travel with her “Honey Bunny” Manuel, especially to casinos and you would normally find her at Kickapoo in the wee hours of any given day.  She was a huge Spurs Fan and always loved watching their games with an ice-cold Budweiser.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, nurse and a friend to many that will miss her dearly.  She was preceded in death by the youngest of her 3 children, Christopher Espinoza and her parents, Jose and Catalina De La O.  Those left behind to cherish her memory are her partner, Manuel Huron; son, Victor Espinoza III and his partner, Michelle Rodriguez; daughter, Patricia Yvonne Boone and her husband, Mark; grandchildren, Joseph and Nicole Espinoza, Michael Onofre, Christopher and Taylor Boone; great-grandchildren, Keanu Orta, Landon and Layla Espinoza; brother, Jose De La O; sister, Maria Casanova; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many extended family members and a host of friends.

All services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 16505 Kilowatt Rd., Elmendorf, Texas 78112.  Viewing will begin at 9:30AM-10:30AM, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30AM, and a Mass to follow.  Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery Elmendorf.

Anita was such a great nurse. I had the pleasure of working with her in Jourdanton. And I'll never forget her kindness. She was also there when I delivered my son. Always so gracious and helpful. You'll be missed, Anita. My deepest condolences to her family. Rest in peace, Anita.

To my coworker Pat,

I know this is so hard. There is no one like a Mother especially a great one. Mothers teach us to love, live life, and to dream. Your mother will truly always be with you. May all your beautiful memories of her comfort you, bring you peace and keep you loving, living and dreaming.

Praying for you and your family.
♥Pernell
