I miss Aunt Nita and her sense of humor quite often.
She was truly one of a kind &
always made me feel welcome
for many years after we lost my mom.
Thinking of you, remembering you
It doesnt seem right you arent here to enjoy the holidays that you always made so very special for us!
sad our new baby Sadie wont get to know you!

Dear Aunt "Nita"....I think of you & your words of wisdom every day...You are missed more than words can say
and I thank you for caring so much, being in my life & giving me a "home" to visit in Houston. Your memory IS a blessing and wish you could be here to enjoy the family, life, your wonderful friends & the crazy world we are in now.....

I want to thank ALL of the wonderful caregivers that stayed by Anitas side in her final hours & helped us carry her over to the next life...
Anita was the bravest, most selfless person in the way she handled her knowledge of her disease and once she wasnt well enough to do the things she loved...She truly taught us how to live and also "how to die"..I miss her everyday...staying close to others that loved her & appreciated her uniqueness keeps her spirit alive..
if you miss her, please call or email & share stories and memories

I thank Aunt Nita for being like a "mother" to me & grandmother to my kids & for always opening her home & heart to me when I came to Houston.
I pray she is at peace & reunited with Mama, Papa, and my mom...her thoughtfulness and attention to detail and her style will long be remembered along with her "big heart".
The holidays wont be the same without her..she loved this time of year & always made it special for our family!

My deepest sympathy to Anita's family. I met Anita in the 70's when she came to M.D.Anderson with her sister Renee. We have kept in touch over the years. She was a very special caring lady. She will be missed.
