Dear Primos,
Please except our condolences and apologies since Bruce and I are unable to be there to support you all at this sad and difficult time. I will always remember Tia's humor, kindness, devotion and the love she showed to her family on both the Gomez and Velasquez sides. We will always be thankful for the summer, she spent at our Dad's house, sitting on the porch with him and Tia Jacinta, watching Chuck Norris/Texas Ranger[she got him hooked on that program] while watching his porch tomato and chili plants grow. They had a lot of fun [we would hear them laughing and joking] and eventually they made a salsa after the chilies and tomatoes grew big enough!!! That summer turned out to be Dad's last summer. Dad loved his sisters very much; he met our mother at a dance that he took them to he was supposed to be their chaperone!! Tia had a beautiful, gentle soul and will forever remain in my heart. May she rest in peace!
Con Carino,
Mary Lou [Gomez]Trollman
