Please accept my sincere heartfelt condolences for your family. I am sorry I was unable to attend the service for Ann, but she was always in my thoughts and prayers. I had the privilege to work with Ann at Charity Guild since 2017. She was always the light and smile in my day, and I looked forward to seeing her every week. I loved her kindness and her spirit. Ann was truly one of the very best, and she will be missed. Not another like her! May God grant you all peace.

Ann was always a happy, smiling face at the Wednesday luncheons at Holy Rosary Parish! She worked tirelessly to cook and clean, always greeting the new and old diners very jubilantly. I did not get to know her very well before the lunches were cancelled during Covid and lost track since then. May she rest in the peace of Christ and behold the beatific vision for eternity!

I met Ann as a volunteer at Holy Rosary at the weekly Wednesday luncheon. I attended the lunch and was assisting one of the volunteers at the conclusion of the event. As things were winding down Ann told me to stop working and sit down. She was always telling me to sit down and rest. She was sitting with a small group of people and was enthusiastically welcomed to join in the conversation. After a couple of hours, we all parted company and I was informed by Ann that I was to be present at the church hall the following week at 10:00 am because I was now recruited to be a permanent part of the weekly committee that worked the lunch setting the hall and cleaning up afterward. :-) Ann and I became good friends and had many good times and laughs working together on the committee until the luncheon was scrubbed. Ann and I saw each other a few more times at the coffee and donuts after Sunday Mass. I was out of town when I received an email from Ann notifying me she had been diagnosed with her illness. I was very sad at the news because I knew it meant that I probably would not get to sit and enjoy her company anymore. Now we will have to look forward to the day that we serve Wednesday lunch together to the church triumphant. Rest in Peace, my dear friend and may the perpetual light shine upon you.
