I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers go out to you and your family.

I am taken back to have seen this. After reading posts from some wonderful friends and family there's not much more can be said. I will pray daily for your family through this time. May you find peace through your faith, love and fellowship from your friends and family and that healing be there outcome.

Dear Karen -
I don't know if you remember me or not, but Ann and I went to school together at EIU and I actually accompanied her to your home and ceremony when you were sworn into the IL House in 1986. I am both stunned and saddened to hear about Ann's passing. She was always so much fun to be around, and oh that smile that could light up a room! Ann was an unbelievably geniune and caring woman, and she truly helped me through some tough times at Eastern. She will always hold a special place in my heart - I'll never forget Ann.

I pray for you and your family during this difficult time.

I'm deeply saddened for the entire family for the loss of Ann. I will always remember our days together out at Lake Springfield as the fathers and their sons competed in 16-inch softball games, and our college years studying at both Eastern Illinois University and the University of Illinois at Springfield. Ann will always be a special person in my heart because she took it upon herself to look out for others. Rest in peace Ann.
