Ann Clemens Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 20, 2024.
Ann L. M. Clemens, 61, of Richfield Springs, NY left this earth on August 9th, 2024, in her sleep, in Lander Wyoming, while on a road trip across the US. Ann was born November 6th, 1962, in New Hartford, NY and was the daughter of Allie and Elizabeth (Ferguson) Abdallah.

Ann was passionate about nature and all critters. Over the years she and Windy rescued and provided a loving home for a number of fur babies including Niki, Riki, Zues, and their current pups, Luna and Jamie. Ann also followed her passion for helping people by being a traveling certified occupational therapist assistant (COTA). Because of her dedication to her work and her patients, so many were able to go on to live functional and fulfilled lives. Ann was blessed to be assigned all across the US and loved being able to see so many new places, make new friends, and invest in new communities. This also fulfilled Ann's passion to travel and see new towns/cities. Ann loved being a grandmother and was so happy to spend her last week with her cherished grandson, Brayden, in California. She loved her children with all her heart. Any time you would visit with Ann, for at least the first 15-20 minutes, if not more you would hear what Brian and Tricia were up to, with pictures and all. Ann spent the last 30 years with her partner in crime, the love of her life, the man who made her truly happy, Windy. Ann made sure she always lived her life to the fullest, no one could ever forget her and her adventurous, boisterous spirit.

Ann is survived by her partner in life and best friend, Wayne "Windy" Windecker. Her son Brian Clemens and his wife Deanna, along with one of her greatest joys, her grandson Brayden. Her daughter, Tricia Hall and her husband Adam. Her parents, Allie and Elizabeth (Ferguson) Abdallah. Her sisters, Dana (& William) Rivenburgh and Monique (& Colin) Grower. Four nieces, one great niece, and three great nephews. As well as a special friend, Jodi Phillips.

Ann was predeceased by her grandparents Raymond and Edith (Foley) Ferguson and Joseph and Agnes (Irwin) Abdallah.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hudson's Funeral Home, The Inn at Lander (Travelodge by Wyndham), and Mamaw's Kitchen in Lander, Wyoming for their kindness. The generosity and support they gave to complete strangers can never be repaid.

Ann's celebration of life will take place on August 31st, 2024, from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm at 2978 State Route 20 Richfield Springs NY

Lots of great memories growing up with mom. From camping and fishing where nonnie and poppie use to camp all summer long to snowmobile in the winter months. Some of my fondest and most memorable will be the times she was able to be with our son Brayden over the last 4yrs. Her first time visiting/seeing Brayden out here in California she came into the house way too hot and made him cry. But after that when they were around each other they were inseparable. Her last week was spent watching Brayden while my wife and I spent our 10yr annv in Hawaii and the sparkle in her eye every time we FaceTimed at night before bed will always be burned into my mind. Love and miss you mom so much and thank you for all you've done for us. Till we meet again you PITA.
