We were neighbors on Ann on Race Stree in Edgewood. (Ellen babysat for our son Jordan who is now 22.) We remember Ann as a remarkable and caring woman full of energy and enthusiasm. Our heart goes out to the family as she will be missed.

I was so blest to have worked with Ann in early 2004. She touched my life in so many ways. I offer my sympathy to her loving family. Ann was truly an angel on earth.

Please accept my deepest condolences, indeed, on Ann's passing.
Since she was a very close friend of my late grandmother (Frances Rickard), I have many fond memories of Ann dating back to the earliest years of my childhood. I still recall most vividly her always upbeat demeanor and ready laugh, her "lima bean ring" (as I used to call it when a mere toddler), and her apartment in the old Heidelberg building next to Park Place School. In fact, I believe that we still have some Christmas tree ornaments that she gave to me, close to forty years ago!
Ann was truly an inspiration to us all, remaining active and involved for so many productive years after the "normal" retirement age; I can only hope to emulate her, if I am blessed with similar longevity.
There is no doubt that she is very fondly remembered by the many people whose lives she touched during her long sojourn here on Earth; rest in peace, Mrs. Cypher, and may God bless....

I am so sorry to learn about Ann's passing. She was a wonderful women and gave me my first job when I graduated from high school. We were in the BGC class together at Calvary. Your mother was a bright, witty and caring person. I know she is up in heaven with my mum and all the other gals from BGC, who have gone on before and doing all the fun things they did when they were here.

I am writing to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mother and Grandmother who was also my mentor and friend. She truly was an inspiration to me while at Northwood and we have kept in touch over the years. A wonderful lady -- always upbeat and cheerful. I'm glad I had the opportunity to have a few recent birthday treats with her and a brief visit that was cut short by a family emergency of my own. Knowing how loving and devoted she was to her family, I know she understood I had to leave. I plan to attend the memorial service this Thursday. The world is a better place because of Ann Cypher and I will always have fond memories of her to share.
