ANN HUNTER Obituary
On Thursday, November 15, 2012. Beloved mother of Curtis Carr Hunter, III (Katherine DeVenny Hunter); grandmother of Elizabeth Ann Hunter; daughter of the late James Alden Fownes and Anna Gay Bradley Fownes. Mrs. Hunter was the great-niece of H.C. Fownes, Founder of Oakmont Country Club, and a graduate of the Ellis School in Pittsburgh and Miss Porter's School in Farmington, MA. Friends will be received at JOHN A. FREYVOGEL SONS, INC., 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street (www.freyvogelfuneralhome.com) Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Tuesday in the chapel of Homewood Cemetery at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

My Dearest Friend... I just received news of your Mother's passing. It invoked such memories of how, as a child, she doted on you and then later it was you who became the caretaker... defending her nature and strong will to your new family.
