Ann M. Mallouk

I never forgot my opportunity to share a stress management group with Ann at the GC Family Center in the 1970's while still a student on my path to a social work career. My mom Risha Levinson introduced us and lives on in my heart. Ann was a dynamo who lived her passion and touched countless lives. Deep condolences to her family

My name is Michele Salley. I am not certain why Ms. Mallouk has come across on my mind and remembered for her gentle manner, when I interned with her. My field placement when a student at Adelphi, was the INN, which is where I met Ms. Mallouk. There are so many things that I have learned and continue to learn as a LCSW/R working in the field now for over twenty years, there are instances where I smile when implementing techniques while working with individuals , that Ms. Mallouk taught to me.All these years later, I remember her kindness and expertise in the field of Social Work. Ann's memorial service at Peconic Landing (1500 Brecknock Rd., Greenport, NY 11944) will be held in the auditorium at 1 pm on Sunday, Dec. 4.
Her funeral at Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn (500 25th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232) will be held at 1 pm on Monday, Dec. 5

As a fellow board member at Planned Parenthood, I knew Ann as kind but steely, a force for good who always was ready for a fight. She more than left her mark in Nassau.

The world has lost a very lovely person. I admire her dedication to the many causes she supported. Ann put her humanitarianism into actions. The world has lost a very special soul and heaven has now another very special Angel.

Ann was a wonderful woman and a matriarch to a family that made all of us proud. She and uncle George exuded kindness to me and my siblings when we were kids. Her values and commitment to social justice or continuing inspiration. The family has lost an extraordinary human being.
