Our sincere condolences to the entire Murphy clan. I remember fondly, many wonderful times in Soundview, except when I hit that damn tree in the Murphy driveway! Lol..Still a fond memory ...May Ann rest with the angels in the arms of her beloved husband and may her family always relish the many memories that will one day bring their hearts peace.

One of my favorite memories of my Mom was around Christmas. My Dad was a bit of a humbug when it came to shopping for Christmas gifts. I worked at Sweezys Dept Stores at the time and my Mom had seen a ring at Kahlers jewelry store next store that she loved. I worked on my Dad for weeks to get her that ring. He kept saying no... Christmas Eve, he shows up at Sweezys and says let's get that ring. They let me go with him and he got it. I got an old microwave box from Home Furnishings and wrapped it up in it. On Christmas morning, she opened it and there was not a dry eye in the house. Christmas was a big deal in our house.

One of my favorite memories of my Mom was our roadtrip to Williamsburg, Virginia. She told me about her courtship with my Dad and the night he asked her to save all her Saturday night's for him. She said he was not a fan of kissing in public but he would hold her hand.
Now you are together again and can hold hands for eternity.
