Ann Lea Plotkin

Ann Lea Plotkin, 46, of Owensboro passed away Friday, February 8, 2019. Ms. Plotkin was born September 19, 1973 in Oakland, California to the late Mark and Lettie Anne Plotkin. Ann was a great mom and a selfless person who always thought of others first. She loved drawing and writing poetry and keeping a journal. Ann was an outgoing person who never met a stranger. In addition to her parents, Ms. Plotkin was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Autumn Hughes in 2016. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Kori Marie Perry (Shane Stroup) of Hopkinsville and Jessica Lothridge of Owensboro; sons, Otis Perry and Alexander James "A.J." Perry also of Owensboro; 12 grandchildren, Anthony and Michele Rodriguez, Nachelle Harper, Aiden Booth, Joshua Hughes, Abel and Sophia Stroup, Kholton Lothridge, Kalyee and Jaylenn Smith, Naveah Leslie, and Alana Boaz; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Lynette Plotkin; aunt, Patsy Pate; stepfather, Doug Turner; special friend, Patricia Lothridge; and her furry friend, Pandora. A memorial service for Ann Plotkin will be scheduled by the family for a future date.
