The original matriarch of a family of wonderful people. Once you were in Ann's good books, you were treated like one of the family. I have fond memories of business and personal interaction with Ann and the entire Potenza family.

Everyone who knew Ann Potenza even just a little realizes that she was full of grace. Some of us who knew her well realize that she was also full of whimsy. About twenty years ago, she gave me a gift of an electronic box that calls out vocally the time of day in English but with a Japanese accent. It continues to work well; occasionally it just needs a replacement battery. It does have one defect though in that the Japanese voice pronounces twenty as forty. I keep it in our bathroom and every morning after shaving, I push a button on the box, and it speaks say 6:42 when it means 6:22. This prompts me to rush, and is probably the principal reason why I always get to work on time! Thus, as for all the other reasons so eloquently expressed by the family, I can add that every day for this special reason, I also say, Thank You, Ann Potenza.
