Dear Schmidt Family,
I am not sure if you would remember me, but I use to babysit for Matt, Ty and Tara on Saturdays when Ted and Ann went to the U of A football games. I even remember being Savanna's first babysitter.
I just heard about Ann and my heart goes out to your family. She was a wonderful person and I am sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great role model and I personally feel like a better person for having known her.

Dear Ted and family, I know you must hearts must be broken by Ann's passing but be assured her memory will be kept alive in our thoughts and memories. I knew Ann form her years as Emily's scout leader and as a soccer mom. Her creativity and tireless dedication to the girls was not only an inspiration but a perfect example of what a great mom could be. She was good and kind and a pleasure to be around. Ann was one of the rare people who brought out the best in those around her and went out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable. I know Emily and I are better people for having had Ann in our lives, even if for just a few years, and she will be missed. I will be keeping you and your family in my prayers though these very tough times. Bridget

Schmidt Family,
We had the honor of knowing Ann for only a short amount of time. She was a wonderful lady. We will never forget her smile and kindness. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Ted and family,
I first met Ann shortly after we moved to Tucson in 1988. She was a charming and friendly woman, just a pleasure to be around. I have never known anyone with the incredible strength and tenacity that Ann demonstrated in her life and know she touched so many lives with her kindness and generosity. I hope you will find some peace and comfort knowing that your Ann was very much loved by everyone who knew her.
