Ann Strange RALEIGH, N.C. Ann Strange, 70, passed away on Wednesday morn ing, Feb. 22, 2012, at her home. She was born on March 20, 1941, to the late Neal and Annita Cutwright Burnett in Buckhannon,W.Va. Mrs. Strange finished West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1964 and spent most of her life teaching special education to children. She spent 10 years at the former Gunnings School in Blountville, Tenn. and after moving to Raleigh she taught at Tammy Lynn Center and was also a member of Wake Forest Baptist Church. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 o'clock, Saturday afternoon, Feb. 25, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roger Strange; daughter, Renee Strange Plummer and husband, Jonathan, of Chester, Va.; sister-in-law, Carol Daniels and husband, Kent, of Lake City, S.C.; grandchildren, Nicole Elizabeth Plummer and Nathan Joel Plummer; nieces, Elizabeth Gold of Lexington, Ky. and Megan Waters of Boston; and numerous friends and extended family.
