VEENSTRA, Ann (Antje) Nee Drost April 4, 1915 - January 20, 2009 Ann was taken home by our Lord at the age of 93 years. She will be missed, but lovingly remembered by her children, John (Betty), Clarence (Joan), Flora (Ralph) Gilmore, Jack (Liz), Edie (Peter) Boonstra, Margaret (Armand) Lindgren; 38 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Jantje Veenstra in The Netherlands; as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Robert (Bouwe); her daughter, Froukje; son-in-law, Rennie Nouta; her parents and her nine siblings. The family would like to thank the Staff at the Jubilee Lodge Nursing Home for their kindness and care. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 11905 - 47 Street, Edmonton with Reverend Arthur L. Verboon officiating. Interment to follow at Little Mountain Cemetery, 16025 - 50 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emmanuel Home Building Expansion Fund, 13425 - 57 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5A 2G1. Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street.
