Ann Washnock

Ann Elizabeth Washnock, 84, of Loveland, CO, died peacefully at home on June 21, 2022 surrounded by her daughters, and her faithful dog, Lucy II. She was born on February 17, 1938, in Akron, Ohio to Ernest and Helen Oyston. On September 19, 1959, she married William Washnock in Akron, OH. Ann and Bill moved to Loveland in 1981 from Medford Lakes, NJ. She was a career nurse, earning her RN in 1959. She loved giving back to others. She was an incredible volunteer in the community. Ann was an avid quilter, baker, birder, hiker, reader, traveller, and life-long learner. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela, Loveland, CO, Julie (Anne Hayes), Fraser, CO, Elizabeth, Loveland CO, sister Judi McCort, Akron, OH and twin grandsons, William and David Butler, Danvers, MA. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, second daughter, Jodi, and brother Bill Oyston. Requiem Eucharist will take place at 10 am on Friday, July 1 at All Saint's Episcopal Church, 3448 N. Taft Avenue, Loveland, CO 80538. Internment will take place at the church columbarium. Memorial contributions may be made to All Saint's Episcopal Church, House of Neighborly Service, Kidney Foundation or Community Kitchen in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, 1102 N. Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO 80537. In lieu of flowers, please give yourself or someone you love a fresh bouquet of colorful flowers. She would have loved that.
