Anna A. Adamusko

Anna A. Adamusko, 91, of Carroll Township, passed away Monday, May 21, 2007, in Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. She was born in Leetonia, Ohio, on June 5, 1915, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Sidlosky Simonik. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Donora, Third Order of St. Francis, St. Dominic's Ladies Guild, Holy Rosary Society and formerly the Parent-Teachers Guild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Stephen J. Adamusko; and three sisters, Mary Hudak, Margaret Dolak and Elizabeth Fratti. Surviving are two daughters, Marianne Hruby, of Monongahela, and Marlene Winn, of Coatesville; a son, Leonard S. Adamusko, of Newtown; 11 grandchildren, Sandy, Regina, Leonard, Kenneth, Gregory, Jennifer, Eric, Megan, David, Brian and Kevin; eight great-grandchildren, Erik, Zachary, Sarah Ann, Abigail, Amanda, Hannah, Sarah Marie and John William; a sister, Catherine Dzyak, of Donora; two brothers, John Simonik, of New Jersey, and Joseph Simonik, of Donora; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the PAUL MACIK FUNERAL HOME, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora (724-379-7000), where a prayer service will be held Friday, May 25 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Dominic Church at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Yaksick as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.
