Anna H. Burkholder

Dundee- Anna H. Burkholder, age 9 years, 8 months, 20 days, of Dundee, N.Y. died accidentally Thursday (January 30, 2014) at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, N.Y. from injuries sustained from being hit by a car.
Friends are invited to call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday (Feb. 3) at the family home 5254 Ray Crosby Rd. Dundee, N.Y. 14837. Her funeral service will begin at 9:30 am Tuesday (Feb. 4) at the Gravel Run Mennonite Church, Ray Crosby Rd., Dundee. Burial will be in Gravel Run Mennonite Cemetery.
Anna was born May 10, 2004 in the town of Starkey, N.Y., the youngest daughter of Mahlon Z. and Ada M. Hoover Burkholder. She was a 4th grade student at Scenic Valley Mennonite School, in Dundee.
She is loved and will be dearly missed by her parents, Mahlon and Ada Burkholder; siblings Emma wife of Eddie Zimmerman of Dundee, Alta Burkholder, Eli Burkholder, Mabel Burkholder, Ellen Burkholder, and Nora Burkholder, all at home; a niece Jalene Zimmerman; paternal grandfather Amos H. Burkholder of Liberty, Kentucky; maternal grandfather Frank N. Hoover of Penn Yan, N.Y.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was predeceased by both of her grandmothers, Emma Z. Hoover on Oct. 3, 2002, and Anna N. Burkholder on April 21, 2011.
