HAVERHILL — Mrs. Anna G. (Olszewski) Cleary, 90, of Haverhill, died Sunday morning, Nov. 15, 2009 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital.
She was born in So. Deerfield, March 4, 1919, daughter of the late Jan and Stephania (Muduzewski) Olszewski, was educated in So. Deerfield and attended St. Deerfield High School. In 1944, she married her late husband Thomas F. Cleary, and settled in Haverhill.
Prior to her retirement in 1979, she had been employed for over 26 years as a layout operator at the former AT&T. Anna was a member of St, James Church.
She was married to the late Thomas F. Cleary and her survivors include two sons, Edward R. Cleary of Ogunquit, Maine, Thomas F Jr and his wife Judy Cleary of Haverhill; a daughter, Patricia A and her husband Stephen F Donahue of Haverhill; three brothers, Anthony Olszewski, Francis, and Ralph Olszewski, all of So. Deerfield; a sister, Genevieve Kokoski of Hadley; five grandchildren, Maura Donahue, Kitty Cleary, Maggie Cleary, Patrick Donahue, Timothy Cleary; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to her funeral Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. James Church. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours at the Bradford Funeral Home will be TODAY, 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Friends of Bethany, 10-12 Phoenix Row, Haverhill, MA 01830.
