Anna Marie Farrelly

1947-2015 Anna Marie Farrelly passed away peacefully on September 26, 2015. The youngest of ten children, Anna was born in Virginia, Co. Cavan, Ireland where she graduated from Virginia Secondary School. Anna was a member of many Pro Life organizations and attended the March for Life in Washington, D.C. for many years. She was also a member of The Cavan Society and was proud to be on the Cavan float in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade every year. Anna is the beloved daughter of the late Margaret and James Farrelly. She is also predeceased by her sisters, Mary Desmond and Sr. Bridie Farrelly, R.S.M.; her brother, Peter and her nephew, Pete. She is survived by her sisters, Sarah Travers of Havertown, Rose Crofton of Co. Tipperary, Ireland, Rita Chambers of Co. Antrim, Ireland; her brothers, George, Farrelly, Sr. of Springfield, Tom Farrelly, Sr. of Rosemont and Jim Farrelly of Co. Cavan, Ireland; also survived by her sisters-in-law, Chris Farrelly of Rosemont, Martha Farrelly of Bryn Mawr and Maureen Farrelly of Springfield and 28 nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Saturday, October 3, 2015, 9:30am-10:45am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave., Springfield, PA 19064. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am. Burial will be in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary, P.O.
