Anna Ruth Gyles

These are the days that we wish would never come but they do whether we are ready or not. We are saddened to hear of this loss and send prayers out to Ms. Anna's family as well as the many others that she touched. Her smile and kind words will always be remembered.~ The Jordan Family

Ms Anna was an inspiration in my life. She shared her thoughts and wisdom with me. She was a very special lady and will be missed. Say strong family.

Anna was pure gold. I grew up at Commonwealth and she was a rare and beautiful lady. She is now with Ronald and her sweet Jesus. But the Earth grieves Blessings to the family

You will always be that bright and shinning light to my children and myself. Keep shinning bright!

Anna will be greatly missed by the Charlotte Branch of the American Association of University Women where she was president for four years in the 90s and was honored for her 50 years as an AAUW member. She often hosted the branch's literary group, often with special speakers, in addition to hosting the annual Holly Tea at Wilora Lakes.

My heart is heavy right now: I will cherish the times I went to visit Ms. Anna when she was at Wilora Lake. She had a heart of gold and made everyone feel so special. RIP Ms. Anna
