Dear Noa:
I was saddened to learn of you mom's passing. She was a true "aishet chayil". May your memories of her be of comfort to all of you at this most difficult time.

Anna was the Ottawa Jewish Community. We expected her to be with us for every event, every Yom Hashoah. I never had the honour to meet this brave and selfless woman. Thank you for what you have given Ottawa and the Jewish people. You were truly gifted, special, and blessed.

I am so deeply saddened for the loss of such a beautiful woman and "teacher" in every sense. I had the honour of travelling with Anna in the 1994 March of the Living and having her as my mentor for the most memorable 2 weeks of my life. Through all those she touched, her stories and her memory will live on strong.

My sincere condolences to her family. You are in my thoughts and heart.

We were all saddened to hear of Anna's passing. She was a unique woman with an inner strength that was truly special. We will keep our memories of her in our hearts and continue to see her live on through her children and grandchildren.

My wife Carol and I are very sad to hear of Anna Heilman's passing. Noa.. she was a great woman who lived a long full life. I remember her fondly when we were next door neighbours for about a year or so a short while ago. She was extremely hospitable to us on more than one occasion. She will be missed and I know her memory will be a blessing

It is with great sorrow that this woman was a hero in every way!! I was a ward of the Children's Aid Society for many years and also she attended my graduation in 1968 at the Mont St Joseph Convent. My deepest sympathy to the children and the family. All the memories I have from her will always remain in my heart.
