Dear Scottie,

Please know how very saddened I am for the loss of your mother. Please be strong in these tough moments of your life. I also experienced the same situation on Thanksgiving Day 2009. One thing I can only say is just enjoy the moments you had with Anna and ascertain that you keep living without regrets.

May you all find peace in knowing that Anna is now with the Lord and she will be an Angle watching over all of us. She is reunited with Phil and Alex. Our ancestors are going to take good care of her in heaven.

Phyllis, So glad to have met you in June of 2015 in front of The Brick House. Loved you mother and know she loved me, although we had not seen or corresponded in many years. Just something about the bond of our generation of Evans cousins and our aunts and uncles that made us close, as well as we had Granddaddy, Grandmomma, and The Brick House. Seemed all the family was close.
