Anna was one of my unofficial godmothers when I was received into the Orthodox Church at All Saints on Pascha 1976. I have only just now learned of her falling asleep. She was one of the dearest, kindest, most loving Orthodox Christians I have ever been blessed to know.

I was sad to hear of Anne's passing. She was a client of our salon for over 25 years. She was always cheerful. I can remember how she wanted her Christmas tree done in pink decorations. So this year I will hang a beautiful pink ornament just for you in the shop Anne. Rest in peace ol'girl.

I knew Anna when we were both in our twenties and will always remember her as the most caring, kind and giving person. I have always and will always have fond memories of her.

While we grieve the loss of Anna deeply, we have many fond memories of her. She was such a kind lady, always greeted us with a very warm smile. Anna was a true friend to our family, ready to share in our successes and offer support in bad times. As a founder of St. Hermans she was a tireless worker. She loved God deeply and her spirituality was an inspiration to all.

Blessed are the Pure in heart, for they shall see God.

I met Anna in February 2013 when we were sharing a room at Grandview Rehabilitation Center in Edmonton. Anna was a sweet lady and kept in touch with me for a while. My condolences go out to her nieces and nephew who showed great compassion and care during her stay at the center. R.I.P. Anna.
