MILKO ANNA "BABE" (BORUSHKO)

Of East Pittsburgh, age 86, died on Saturday, December 29, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Andrew A. "Bunky" Milko; loving mother of Donna (Raymond) Savikas of NJ, Gary (Donna) Milko of Chalfant, Virginia (Dennis) Kisak of North Huntingdon, the late Andrew S. Milko and the late infant, Theresa Milko; treasured grandmother of Greg (Eileen) Savikas, Hailee (Ross, Ph.D.) Ryskamp and Matthew (Allie) Milko, Dean (Amanda) Kisak, Drew (Kelsey) Kisak and Devin Kisak. Babe is survived by four great-grandchildren, and she was expecting her fifth great-grandchild who is due in July. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Babe was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Mary Turek, John Turek, Sophie Bestic, Olga Smirga, Helen Turek, Tillie Palarino, George Borushko and Virginia Mance. Babe was a retired Administrative Assistant with the Athletic Department of Woodland Hills School District. It was a job that she loved. Babe was a volunteer and Past-President of the former East Pittsburgh Little League Ladies Auxiliary. She was also renowned for her baking skills and her famous Haluski that she fed to numerous Woodland Hills coaches and football players. In her spare time Babe enjoyed crocheting and the challenge of crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Above all else, Babe was always thrilled to spend time with Bunky and her family, especially at Conneaut Lake. Friends are welcome on New Years Day, Tuesday, from 2-8 p.m. at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Linden Ave., East Pittsburgh, (412-824-8800). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday. Time and place will be announced later. Babe will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
