Rick and family, I was saddened to hear of Anna Lee's passing. My thoughts have been with you this past month, I hope it helps to know others are thinking of you. I hadn't seen Annalee in quite sometime....I do remember her buying a basket that I had made from my craft table a few yrs back. :) Sincerely, Tammy

Dear Rick, Robbie, Jen, Andy, and Angie Bo:
I apologize for not attending Anna Lee's memorial service. My job keeps me busy 85 hours a week and seldom do I have the opportunity for time off. As you probably also know, I lost a grandson in late December. It was a great tradegy for us, but we have peace knowing that he is in heaven.
My deepest sympathies go to all of you for your recent loss. Anna Lee fought hard over the years to over come her sickness, but it was not the Lord's will. She will rest well in the Lord's arms. I hope you find comfort in your love for each other in your time of sorrow.
She loved her family greatly and I know that she was extremely happy to get to know her granddaughter "Angie Bo." She is at peace now, and you will have your memories of her life to share with each other and future generations for many years to come.
Please keep in touch. Thinking of you often.

Mrs. Scribner was my Senior Special teacher at Washington Academy. She helped me make a vest and bow tie for my prom date. Although the only thing I have had to sew since then is a button that was falling off my coat, I am sure some day the skills I learned in that class will be put to good use. Thinking of you…

Dear Annalee, I look at your picture to the right and I get a big knot in my throat. The day that picture was taken was such a happy day. And I, for one, remember how thankful I was that God allowed you to stay on earth long enough to enjoy that day. The day your oldest son married a women that you grew to love so much. Part of me does get comfort in knowing your with God now and your healthy and not suffering, but there is a big part of me that wants to pick the phone up and say hello, complain about some parental issue I'm struggling with at the time or ask when I'll see you next. The day you passed away Linc had a basketball game that night that I had planned to go to but after picking him up from school and going home I got the sad news of your passing. I chose to go to Machias and be with our family and you one last time. But before I left I explained to Linc why I wouldn't be going to his game and that you were in Heaven watching. Just before I left Linc said to me "I'm not playing this game tonight for anyone else but Aunt Annalee". Any one reading this my son is 7 years old. Annalee I hope you enjoyed the game. His father told me later that he done real well playing that night. I love you and miss you very much. Your baby sister, Betty

I had the priviledge of knowing Mrs. Scribner not only personally but she was my teacher at WA for a few years. She was alot of fun, and full of spirit, and that spirit will live on in us all. I know first hand what you are all going through as I lost my mom back in April, it is a daily struggle, but just remember she is at peace and watching over you all forever! She is your angel!
