Anna M. Tallarico, 84, of Hazleton passed away Wednesday in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (Marcinko) Evancho. Prior to retiring, Anna worked for the Hazleton Area School District.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Anthony Tallarico; their son, James Tallarico; and her sister, Theresa Jordan.
Surviving are her sons, Anthony Tallarico and wife, Loraine; David Tallarico and wife, Laurie; and Edward Tallarico; daughter-in-law, Jean Tallarico; a brother, Joseph Evancho and wife, JoAnn; sisters, Rita Goach and husband, David; and Helen Chippi; grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Anthony Jr., Sarah and Chelsea Tallarico; and several great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish at St. Joseph's Church, Hazleton.
Interment will follow in Most Precious Blood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
